Hi, I’m André Cardoso,
an Architectural Designer currently based in Barcelona, Spain

I am a passionate and dedicated Master of Architecture, having graduated in 2015 from Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto & École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture Paris-Belleville. My final dissertation, “Territorial Mobility in Paris — Decay, Gentrification and Displacement,” is a testament to my interest in exploring socio-spatial organization and social mobility.
My career in architecture has been exciting and diverse. I had the privilege of collaborating with Eduardo Souto Moura as an Intern Architect from 2013 to 2014, where I contributed to various concept design projects. After that, I worked as a Junior Architect at Craft Arquitetos in Porto between 2016 and 2018, where I was involved in multiple award-winning projects of different scales in Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and the USA.
In 2019, I decided to explore my personal interests in small-scale residential architecture and conceptual designs, with a particular focus on social dynamics. Since then, I have been working on my own projects. In 2021, I joined Mesura in Barcelona, where I am currently developing large-scale programs in Asia and the Middle East.
I am a licensed and registered member of the Portuguese Architect’s Association (OA). With my extensive experience and diverse skill set, I am passionate about creating sustainable and innovative designs that positively impact communities.
