Hi, I’m André Cardoso
,
an Architectural Designer currently based in Barcelona, Spain
BIOGRAPHY
Since 2015 I’m a graduated Master in Architecture by Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto & École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture Paris-Belleville. My final dissertation “Territorial Mobility in Paris — Decay, Gentrification and Displacement” is a theoretical research on socio-spatial organisation and social mobility. I collaborated with Eduardo Souto Moura from 2013 to 2014 as an Intern Architect and took part in many concept design projects. Between 2016 and 2018, I worked with Craft Arquitetos in Porto as a Junior Architect. During this period I was involved in projects with a broad spectrum of scales, some of which awarded, and had the opportunity to follow works in Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and the USA. Since 2019 I’m personally developing small scale residential architecture and conceptual designs, with a particular focus on social dynamics. In 2021 I joined Mesura in Barcelona, and I’ve been mainly developing large scale programs in the Middle East. I’m a licensed and registered member in the Portuguese Architect’s Association (OA).
